COURSE INFORMATION

UPON REGISTRATION

The maximum number of students per class is normally 12. The maximum during COVID red-zone designation is 9.  You will receive a registration e-mail. Following your registration, you must send a $50 deposit through e-transfer to redtass01@gmail.com in order to confirm your spot in the class. If the class is full upon registration, you will be automatically placed on the waiting list (for that date). Do not send a deposit if you are on the waiting list and do not register for the Restricted.

If for any reason you cannot attend your confirmed course date, please contact the instructor at least 72 hours before the course date to make arrangements for future course attendance, or to receive a refund.

IF YOU HAVE REGISTERED FOR THE CRFSC

Confirmed registrants will receive a reminder email one week before the course date. If you are on the waiting list (says waiting list at the top of the form where you fill out your information) you may receive short-notice notification of an opening one day or more before the course date. Only respond if you are interested and available. If you are already registered for a future date your position will remain the same. If you are interested, respond as soon as possible, positions are filled on a first responder basis.

PAYMENT

A $50 e-transfer deposit to redtass01@gmail.com is required in order to confirm your spot upon registration in the course (please keep the password simple). Course fees can be paid in full at this time as well. A $50 deposit is required regardless of whether you are taking one course or both... not $50 per course.

The course fee less the confirmation deposit will be due anytime before the course date. For a single course, $120 ($170 less the $50 deposit) will be expected. If you have enrolled in both courses, $230 will be due.

If you have indicated that you wish to receive the course manual (covers both non-restricted and restricted), an addition $21 will be due on the first day of the course.

Payment can be made through e-transfer prior to the course date don't forget to include the cost of the manual if you require one.

ON THE DAY OF THE COURSE

DO NOT BRING FIREARMS OR AMMUNITION TO CLASS.

Bring your PPE gear (MASK, Face covering, Shield) to participate in class. Read and adhere to the mandatory COVID protocol located on the home page.

Provided an e-transfer of the course fees if you haven't done so already.

Course participants should bring a notepad, pen, and a valid form of picture ID, such as a Driver's License.

​

If you have registered for the CRFSC, you must bring proof of successful completion of the non-restricted course (CFSC).

​

Please be considerate of other participants; refrain from wearing strong scents or fragrances that can affect those with allergies.

Successful completion of the course requires passing a written and practical exam. Please remember, a written and practical test will

follow the lecture at the end of day, this can take up to two hours wait time, please schedule yourself accordingly.

The course is comprised of a lecture and practical exercise. Successful completion of the course is dependent on passing a written and practical exam.
